Workers were laying concrete for curbs on Martini Drive, which will also be the south entrance to the new QuikTrip, at Manchester and Big Bend, on Friday. One said he was happy for the break in the cold weather, and that it had caused some weekend work.
A QuikTrip employee at the current store, on S. Big Bend, said Thursday the new store is scheduled to open May 15, though it could be pushed back another 15 days, he said.
