Tim Hortons officially broke ground Tuesday morning in Maplewood, with help from Maplewood city officials and chamber of commerce, St. Louis County Councilman Pat Dolan and Tim Hortons partners. The Tim Hortons restaurant is the first of 40 planned St. Louis area locations.
Mayor Jim White and Maplewood chamber of commerce president, Ben Triola were in the lineup of ground breaking shovels. General contractor, Don Musick, Mike Shanahan Jr. and Brett Hull were also there.
The restaurant is due to open in June. It will seat close to 50 diners, inside and on a patio. It will be open 24 hours a day, with double drive-thru service.
You’d think a stadium was going in or something with this lot…
