Sheri Phipps, with the Maplewood pet supply store, Airedale Antics (7316 Manchester Road), passed on to 40 South News news of a successful donation drive for Five Acres Animal Shelter, in St. Charles, and Stray Rescue of St. Louis.
Airedale Antics and The Watering Bowl in South County each collected around $850 in supplies for the animal shelters.
In total, $8,000 worth of supplies and $1,400 in monetary donations went to the shelters.
“It highlights just how wonderfully generous our customers (and your readers) are for the four-pawed STL community in need,” Phipps said.
