Diane Ries, employee at Time for Dinner, in Brentwood (8506 Manchester Road), was the target of an April Fools joke that involved hundreds of sticky notes covering her car. She discovered it around 4 p.m.

“I’ve been here since 8:30, and apparently all the other employees were in on this,” she said. “My manager was supposed to keep me working at my table.”

Why her? “Because I’m crazy,” she said. “I like a good time. I see humor in things.”

Ries even laughed when the sticky notes got rained on and left pink-colored squares on the hood of her car after they were removed.

“Fingernail polish remover does wonders,” she said.photo(2)
