Arrests for larceny, littering, disorderly conduct: cops

The following information was supplied by the Maplewood Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Sept. 1

  • Police were dispatched to a Maplewood Commons business for a larceny. Through investigation, police were able to locate an adult male suspect who was in possession of $45 in stolen consumable goods. The suspect was arrested for stealing under $500.
  • Police were dispatched to a Maplewood Commons business for a larceny that just occurred. Through investigation, police were able to locate an adult male suspect who was in possession of approximately $60 in stolen watches. The suspect was arrested for stealing under $500.

Wednesday, Sept. 2

  • Police located a large plastic bag abandon in Kellogg Park. The bag contained various clothing items. An attempt to locate the owner is still on going.

Friday, Sept. 4

  • While monitoring traffic in the area of Manchester Road at South Big Bend, police observed an adult male suspect throw a non-biodegradable item from his vehicle onto the roadway. As a result of the traffic stop, the suspect was arrested for having several outstanding warrants, along with being issued a municipal citation for littering.

Saturday, Sept. 5

  • An adult male suspect believed to be intoxicated was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 7500 block of Alicia Avenue following a large commotion.

Monday, Sept. 6

  • Police arrested a 61-year-old female suspect for trespassing at a business in the 7300 block of Manchester Road.
