Chanelle Churchill, 19, of St. Louis, is charged with stealing over $500 at the Target store in Brentwood on March 11.
According to court and Brentwood police records, Churchill filled a shopping cart with merchandise, then pushed it past the registers without paying. She was caught at the door; the stolen goods, valued at $910, were recovered.
Churchill confessed to the theft. She was held on a $10,000 bond.
