Brainerd LaTourette Jr., mayor of Richmond Heights 1992-96 was eulogized Dec. 31 at Ladue Chapel Presbyterian Church. He died Dec. 26 following surgery at St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield. He was 84, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
LaTourette was also a longtime lawyer, a St. Louis County councilman and the longest-serving chairman of the county’s Board of Police Commissioners.
He was also a 1948 graduate of Maplewood Richmond Heights High School, according to Classmates.com.
