The 2016 Brentwood city budget is back on the agenda for the February 16 meeting, after failing in the last board meeting of 2015, and also following a workshop meeting where aldermen brought up their issues with the budget.
The budget failed on Dec. 21 by a 4-3 vote. At that meeting, aldermen David Plufka, Keith Slusser and Patrick Toohey voted yes; Andy Leahy, Steve Lochmoeller, Cindy Manestar and Maureen Saunders voted no.
At the workshop on Jan. 25, aldermen brought up issues involving employee compensation, a customer service manager position, pension benefits for elected officials, and others.
City clerk, Octavia Pittman, said on Friday she expects that amendments will be proposed to the agenda before being voted on.
