Brentwood officials take oath

Following the election this month, Brentwood’s officials elected for new terms took the oath of office Monday evening at City Hall, swearing to “support the Constitution of the United States, and the Constitution and the Laws of the State of Missouri, and the Ordinances of the City of Brentwood…” All were incumbents.

Mayor Chris Thornton swears in Municipal Judge Patrick Dignam, whose right arm was in a sling due to a torn rotator cuff. He joked he’d file for workers compensation from being injured following all the hand shaking that night.

Ward 1 Councilman David Plufka takes the oath of office.
Ward 2 Councilman Brandon Wegge takes the oath of office.
Ward 3 Councilman Steve Lochmoeller takes the oath of office.
Ward 4 Councilman Tom Kramer takes the oath of office.
Everyone ate cake following the meeting.
