Brentwood, Richmond Heights, and nearby Rock Hill have made a list of the top 10 suburbs in which to buy a home in Missouri. That’s according Niche.com.

Brentwood made second, Rock Hill is fourth, and Richmond Heights came in at tenth.

According to Niche: “The Best Suburbs to Buy a House ranking provides a comprehensive assessment of the housing and community of an area at the suburb level. This grade takes into account key factors of a location’s housing market, including home values, taxes, crime, and public education, in an attempt to measure the quality and stability of an area’s housing market.”

Among the stats:

  • Brentwood median home value: $184,600,
  • Richmond Heights median home value: $241,400
  • Rock Hill median home value: $174,400

  1. Why is Richmond Heights’ average home value so much higher than Brentwood’s? I could see 5-10 thousand, but $57000?

    • Richmond Heights would have a higher average home value than Brentwood because, for example, the house featured with this post on the home page sold for $825,000 recently.

  2. I always questions the validity of these opinion/reports. I alway see unexpected outliers! Does anyone who reads 40 South want to live in Wentzville? Ha ha!
