Tuesday, April 22

  • Police arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of stealing approximately $386 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.

Wednesday, April 23

Friday, April 25

  • Police arrested a 42-year-old woman on suspicion of stealing approximately $150 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • A passport and a license was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 7300 block of Elm. The incident occurred between April 15 – 16, but was not reported to police until April 25.
  • The door lock on a vehicle parked in the 2600 block of Margarette was damaged in an attempt to enter the vehicle.
  • Police arrested a 23-year-old woman on suspicion of shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.

Saturday, April 26

  • An unknown driver failed to pay for approximately $60 in fuel in the 3000 block of S. Hanley.
  • A purse was stolen at a Maplewood Commons business. The purse contained cash and credit cards.
  • Police arrested a 49-year-old man on suspicion of stealing approximately $300 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 7700 block of Lindbergh Drive. Investigation revealed a juvenile male was responsible for the burglary. The case has been referred to the St. Louis County Family Courts.

Sunday, April 27

  • A television was reported stolen from a residence in the 7500 block of Ellis. Police are following up on several strong leads regarding the suspect.
  • A leaving the scene of an accident on the parking lot of a Maplewood Commons business was reported.

  1. Regarding Saturday, April 26, drive-offs from gas stations are infuriating. It forces more and more of them to require prepayment, which I find a hassle because I want to fill up my tank (paying cash) and make only one trip inside. Ultimately it hurts honest customers who are just trying to go about their lives. Does Missouri have a law like some states that if caught the thieves lose their driver’s license?
