McCandliss Renovations was officially established in 2005. However, I have been working in the industry and on my own since 1998.
In a nutshell, what is your business?
We provide a full range of services from changing a light bulb to home/office renovations and additions.
What makes your business different than others in the same industry or profession?
While we’re as qualified and experienced as other companies in our industry that work exclusively on large scale projects, McCandliss Renovations welcomes work on any size job, big and small. We also pride ourselves on putting the needs of our client first. If we feel that we’re not the best company for a potential client for whatever reason, we’ll notify them and will provide a recommendation and/or referral for their next steps.

Why did you choose Maplewood to open your business?
As a business owner and resident, I know that Maplewood is a great city in a great location. While we have clients throughout St. Louis, it is especially rewarding and exciting to work on projects for my neighbors and fellow business owners.
Are there any specific causes or organizations that your business supports?
Most of our scrap money goes to Cub Scout Pack 362 where I serve as a Pack Leader. I think it’s important for businesses to be active in the community and this is just one way I can give back.
