St. Mary Magdalen celebrates Catholic Schools Week

Every year since 1974,  Catholic schools celebrate Catholic education in the United States. It starts the last Sunday in January and runs all week. This past week Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic School celebrated this rich tradition.

The theme for the National Catholic Schools Week 2017 was “Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service.” We observed the annual celebration week with Masses, an open house and other activities for students, families and parishioners. These events helped us to focus on the value Catholic education provides to our students, our church,  and our communities.
