Street repaving work is already behind schedule in Maplewood due to the historic rainfall in June. Now a possibly careless driver has likely put one street even farther behind.
Roger Goltz (@rogergoltz) reported Wednesday afternoon on Twitter that “some fool just drive his Challenger into the wet concrete on Gerhard.”
Martini Drive is expected to be finished by the time school starts on August 12, but Gerhard and Oakland avenues will likely still be under construction.
As they say, you can’t fix stupid.
