How would you describe MRH High School Career Connections?
Career Connections is one of the many top notch programs offered for MRH High School students. My job is to connect our students to professionals and professionals back to our students. I’ve been fortunate in this community and had an amazing outpouring of support from business owners through career fairs, internships, Capstone night, job shadows, panel discussions, volunteer opportunities and the list goes on. A few businesses that have hosted interns are Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments, SmithLee Productions, AmberSky, and Giant Steps to name a few. We’re always looking for new businesses to partner with in whatever capacity works for them.
What is the most exciting thing to happen to MRH High School Career Connections?
If you haven’t heard about Capstone, get in touch with me because we’re planning on doing it again next year. Tons of great food and beverages from local businesses while evaluating student work. It’s an amazing night. #mrhcapstone
Do you have a “favorite” Maplewood or Richmond Heights business?
That’s equivalent to making me choose my favorite child. I feel fortunate to be in a community that has so much love for the school district. I shop local in our school district as much as possible.
