Brentwood Planning and Zoning will take up Chick-Fil-A’s request to build a restaurant on the current Macaroni Grill site (8590 Eager Road) for the third month in a row, in its meeting on Wednesday.
Dierberg’s owns the property, and Chick-fil-A would be leasing from them, as Macaroni Grill now does. Macaroni Grill would be demolished.
The proposed Chick-fil-A would be a 4,800 square foot restaurant with a drive-thru. Planning and zoning is considering the traffic pattern, including cars stacking up in the drive-thru during lunch, and other site plan details.

When Chick-Fil-A passes planning and zoning it will go to the board of aldermen for final approval.
Macaroni Grill is remaining open during the process.
