Brentwood isn’t the only place where Chick-fil-A plans to replace Macaroni Grill, according to the Columbia Missourian.
Brentwood Mayor Pat Kelly announced plans for Chick-fil-A to replace the Macaroni Grill on Eager Road in September, and planning and zoning began considering the proposal this month.
The same scenario is unfolding in two other Midwest cities.
In Columbia, MO, Chik-fil-A filed a permit with the city to demolish an existing Macaroni Grill at 305 N. Stadium Boulevard and replace it with a 4,267 square-foot restaurant. A similar situation is taking place in Lincoln, NE, the Missourian reports.

News organizations in Missouri and Nebraska have reported the trend, though the projects have not been officially linked.
