The McGrath Elementary driveway proposal is on the September 27 Brentwood School Board Agenda (though not yet published online), according to a source.
The same source also says that the school district has gone through the bidding process and selected a contractor.
A cost for the project hasn’t been disclosed. Superintendent David Faulkner said in the August meeting that at that time it was too early to make the cost public — before a contractor had been chosen.

About a dozen residents spoke at last month’s school board meeting, all opposing the proposed driveway that would cut through the McGrath playground connecting High School Drive with the current parking lot.
The new road would take the pick-up and drop-off traffic off of St. Clair. It’s for the safety of the students, according to members of the board.
