The St. Louis Post-Dispatch recently posted crime statistics for every neighborhood in the city of St. Louis. Three St. Louis neighborhoods border Maplewood or Richmond Heights: Ellendale, south of Maplewood; Franz Park, east of Maplewood; and Hi-Pointe, east of Richmond Heights.
The interactive maps also show the recorded crimes for July.
- Ellendale — down 24.71 percent in 6-month period
- Franz Park — up 20.51 percent in 6-month period
- Hi-Pointe — up 64 percent in 6-month period
Stan, I could not agree with you more. Doug it would be great to have that information. It seems like the big box stores are using too many of our resources.
What are the stats for maplewood and Richmond heights?
It would be nice to know stats for Maplewood and Richmond Heights. Doug, can you find out? It would also be nice to know how much of our cities resources are being used at Maplewood Commons and the Galleria. Residents like to see the police in their neighborhoods.
