Reopening of the Deer Creek McDonald’s is apparently on schedule.

McDonald’s USA Heartland Region Communications Manager Neil Getzlow said in an email on Wednesday that the McDonald’s, which closed July 15, is on anticipated to reopen “around August 15.” He said he would have more details next week.

At the closing, Getzlow said the McDonald’s would close for about 30 days.

The temporary closing is to make “ improvements to the interior and exterior of the restaurant and property…to enhance our customers’ experience,” Getzlow said in a statement in July.

  1. I take back my words….yesterday I did see workers inside…..unless it was hamburgulars!!!!!

  2. I think McDonalds on Big Bend needs to take the American flag down. It has been flying 24/7 since it closed and I don’t believe flags are supposed to be flown in attended like that.

      • They have asphalted & painted the parking lot. Other than that, I don’t see any workers inside doing anything. No trucks can get past the cement barricades. I hope they re-open soon.
