Menards got the final OK to build its latest St. Louis store from the Richmond Heights City Council in October.
The $63 million 17-acre development north of Maplewood Commons is set to open in 2015.
Demolition has begun in the north section of the Hadley Township area,
beginning with trees. The law offices at the corner of S. Hanley Road and W. Bruno Avenue will also come down, but not for a couple months.
