Over the last 5 years, the Taste of Maplewood Street Festival has gained notoriety as an ultimate celebration of all things Maplewood. In its 6th year now, the street party brings together foodies, shoppers, and music lovers to enjoy the bites, sights and sounds of a city known for everything hip and happening!
“The Best of the Taste of Maplewood” food and drink contest, a feature added in recent years, promises to be spicier than ever. Vendors will once again battle for bragging rights to have their vittles and libations hailed the “Best Of” by celebrity judges, including Catherine Neville of Feast Magazine and others to be announced.
Visitors will enjoy live entertainment on two stages including performances by Gene Dobbs Bradford Blues Experience, Al Holliday and the East Side Rhythm Band, St. Louis Irish Arts, The Blue Devils Rhythm & Blues Band and more.
Boogaloo, The Crow’s Nest, Kakao Chocolate, Maven, The Maya Café, Pie Oh My, Saratoga Lanes, Schlafly Bottleworks, Stellar Batik, The Post Sports Bar & Grill, Tiffany’s Diner, Tiny Little Monster, Vom Fass, and The Wood are just a few of the businesses and organizations expected to be represented.
Admission is free. The event is presented by the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce, with support from Citizens National Bank, the City of Maplewood, the City of Maplewood Special Business District, and Sunnen Products Company. Other sponsors include UHY Advisors, Richmond Terrace, Clarkson Eyecare, and Barb Summers Real Estate.
