Mark Glenshaw, award-winning naturalist, returns to Maplewood Public Library to share his observations of the lives of Great Horned Owls in Forest Park. Since December 2005, he has documented the behaviors of these owls and will share with us how he found them, facts about the species, and the different behaviors he has seen and photographed. Mark has been featured in The St. Louis Post-Dispatch, St. Louis Magazine, KWMU St. Louis Public Radio, KMOV Channel 4, KTVI Fox 2, Missouri Life, and others. He frequently leads tours of the owls’ territory called “owl prowls”.
