What does it mean to imagine that you’re someone else and living a different life? How might knowledge of the past connect with our lives today?
Step into history and take “a walk into the past,” with the Urban Museum Collaborative (UMC). Explore the stories behind the exhibit Walking in Someone Else’s Shoes. Staff from the UMC and two historic houses—the Campbell House Museum and the Field House Museum, will focus on a variety of individuals who lived during the turbulent years surrounding the Civil War and will also discuss how the past connects to our communities today.
