The following information was supplied by the Maplewood Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Police are investigating several thefts that occurred within a fifteen to twenty minute time span on Sept. 3 in the 3200 block of Laclede Station and 3000 block of S. Hanley.
Police were initially dispatched to the 3200 block of Laclede Station Road where it was reported that four teenage males didn’t pay for approximately $90 in food they had ordered at a restaurant.
While investigating this incident, police were also dispatched to a business in the 3000 block of S. Hanley. An investigation indicated the same suspects stole approximately $100 in merchandise from the business.
The subjects are also suspected in stealing a cell phone from a vehicle parked outside the business in the 3000 block of S. Hanley.
