The St. Louis brewer with an international reputation — Side Project Brewery — over the weekend in Santa Rosa, CA, was recognized as the eighth best brewery in the world, according to Rate Beer.
Side Project Brewery has been using leased space for its brewing up to now, but is renovating a building in Maplewood on Manchester for brewing and retail. The owner, Cory King and his wife Karen, have run Side Project Cellar, a tasting room, on Marietta Avenue in Maplewood since November 2014. Side Project Cellar was named the top Missouri brewer tap room.
Side Project Cellar will remain open when the brewery on Manchester opens.
