Hadley Township voters back winners Clancy & Bell; losers Mantovani & Bush

Area winners in the August 7 primary elections, Lisa Clancy and Wesley Bell won overwhelmingly in Hadley Township, which encompasses most of Maplewood and Richmond Heights. Hadley voters also backed the losers — Mark Mantovani and Cori Bush.

Turnout in Hadley Township total turnout was over 46%. In all of St. Louis county total turnout was 42%. The results were posted on Tuesday. See the complete Hadley Township election results here.


For county executive (Democratic), Mark Mantovani took 64% to Steve Stenger’s 36%, winning at every polling place but one.

For prosecuting attorney (Democratic), Wesley Bell took 66% to Robert McCulloch’s 34%, winning at every polling place but one.

For U.S. Representative, District 1 (Democratic), Cori Bush took 60% to Lacy Clay’s 36%, winning at every polling place.

For County Council District 5 (Democratic), Lisa Clancy took 61% to Pat Dolan’s 34%, winning at every polling place but one.

Right to work was defeated with almost 80% voting against.
