An Oklahoma man has been charged with the shooting death of Jocelyn Peters, 30-year-old teacher at Mann Elementary in the Tower Grove neighborhood, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Peters was also a graduate of Brentwood High School.
Peters’ boyfriend found her dead in her Central West End apartment in March. She was seven months pregnant at the time.
Phillip J. Cutler, 35, of Muskogee, OK, was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the fatal shooting of Jocelyn Peters.
The Post-Dispatch reports Cutler is in custody in Oklahoma. Cutler is a is a friend of Peters’ boyfriend, and had use of his car and keys to Peters’ apartment while her boyfriend was out of town, prosecutors said.
