Workers with heavy machinery were tearing down bricks on the south side of Aldi Monday in preparation for an expansion, according to an employee.
From inside the store, the wall is now a plywood wall behind the products.
He said an extra aisle will be added, also that the work will close the store for approximately four weeks beginning sometime in September.
I hope they’ll make room for more actual food, rather than an entire aisle of unrelated “special buys” like tents and outdoor furniture.
I vote for more healthy food. Whole Paycheck (and soon Lucky’s) need competition.
Just one aisle? I can only hope that it will be filled entirely with pita chips.
