Maplewood business owner Steve Jawor (Great Harvest Bread Co., 7360 Manchester Road) was a high school outfielder and relief pitcher until he discovered running, coming close to breaking a 4-minute mile in college.
He still loves baseball movies, and keeps an updated list on his iPad of his favorites.
He said ‘Trouble With A Curve’ and ‘Moneyball’ recently moved into his Top 10 Favorites.
“‘Moneyball’ with Brad Pitt moved into sixth place on my list, knocking out ‘A League Of Their Own’. ‘Trouble with A Curve,’ with Clint Eastwood, moved up into the eighth spot rooting out ‘The Sandlot’, Jawor said in a text.
Take a look — what do you think?

“You’re killing me Smalls!” Steve I haven’t seen all of these movies but I don’t think I could ever knock out those two movies. Oh, and a little note to LA Dodgers. Not only is there “No crying in baseball” there should never ever be bubbles in professional baseball. Geez give me a break!
