Madosky plans to ride the 100 mile option on Saturday and the 75 mile option Sunday. He says he’s still raising funds for the ride. Donate here – find Madosky’s name on the list.

Madosky says he rides 6,000 miles annually and has ridden this summer along the Blue Ridge Parkway and the 160 ride across Indiana. He began riding long distances after reconstructive surgery on his left knee in the 1990s prevented him from running.

“In both my personal and professional life I have encountered people with MS and am awed by their determination to have a life which brings them joy. My part is easy – I get to do what I love, ride a bike and also raise a little bit of money for MS research and services,” Madosky said.

Maplewood Richmond Heights 1975 graduate, Ray Kennedy, once an internationally known musician, is battling MS.
