Maplewood firefighters, on their Facebook page, reported that the on-duty crew, along with Chief Terry Merrell, responded to rescue a dog with a swollen foot stuck in a bathtub drain.
“After some careful manipulation and cutting of the pipe below, our brave new friend Lola was freed and happily returned to her owner,” they report.
