Maplewood police: 7 arrests for $706 in stolen goods

Monday, Nov. 11

  • Two 30-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of stealing approximately $130 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.


Tuesday, Nov. 12

  • A leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident was reported on in the area of S. Big Bend and Manchester. The suspect vehicle is a red Volkswagon.

Thursday, Nov. 14

  • A 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting approximately $330 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • A 34-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of stealing approximately $140 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.

Friday, Nov. 15

  • A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stealing alcohol from a business located in the 7300 block of Manchester.
  •  A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his wife.  The incident occurred in the 7600 block of Marion Court.

Saturday, Nov. 16

  • A 64-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated resulting from a traffic stop in the area of Manchester and S. Hanley roads.
  • A man reportedly stole a pair of boots valued at $148 and ran out the door in a Deer Creek Center business. Police are reviewing video surveillance in an attempt to identify the suspect.
  • Police were called to a residence in the 2000 block of Yale Avenue in reference to a violation of an order of protection. Police found the suspect at the residence and he was taken into custody for violating the order.  A warrant was issued on the 25-year-old man through the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office with a bond set at $2500.

Sunday, Nov. 17

  • Two women were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting approximately $106 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.  Both subjects were also wanted by other jurisdictions for active warrants.
  • A 30-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of stealing merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
