Monday, Dec. 30

  • Police are investigating a fraudulent use of credit card of approximately $585
    at a Maplewood Commons business. The fraud was reported on Dec. 30, however the incident occurred earlier in December.

Tuesday, Dec. 31

  • Approximately $480 was reported stolen at a residence in the 2100 block of Bellevue Avenue. Police are investigating.
  • A 32-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of stealing approximately $205 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. She was additionally charged with giving false information to an officer.

Wednesday, Jan. 1

  • James David Pryor Jr, 25, of St. Louis was charged with Robbery 2nd, Property Damage 2nd, Resisting Arrest, Assault Third Degree on Law Enforcement Officer, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia through the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. The robbery was committed at a business in the 3500 block of S. Big Bend on Dec. 31. Officers located the suspect and took him into custody at that time.

Thursday, Jan. 2

  • A 30-year-old man was found to be driving on a revoked driver’s license when an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 3400 block of Greenwood. He was also wanted on a failure to appear warrant as well as other agencies for active warrants. The driver was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia which was discovered at the time of the arrest.
  • A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting approximately $370 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. The case is being forwarded to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office in consideration of felony charges due to the suspect’s prior theft history.
  • Police responded to the 3300 block of Greenwood for a reported disturbance. Officers made contact with a man and woman who said they had been arguing. No arrests were made or charges issued.
  • Several packages had been reportedly stolen off the front porch of a residence in the 2800 block of Laclede Station Road.
