Maya Cafe (2726 Sutton Boulevard) closed in mid-August last year— “torpedoed”—owner Jay Schober said Monday about the circumstances.
Now, after clearing all hurdles, the Maplewood Pan-Latin restaurant announced on Facebook Thursday it will reopen on Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m.
Schober said that after Sunday, which happens to be National Margarita Day, the Maya should be open full time.
