Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission is set to hold an open house/ public hearing on the design and construction of pavement, bridge and sidewalk improvements on Manchester Road from Lindbergh Boulevard to Big Bend Boulevard.
The road work could start as early as 2020, according to MoDOT.
The project is will resurface about five miles of Manchester Road. Sidewalks will improved too, which may require the department to purchase right of way or easements. The hearing will allow property owners to discuss their rights and options.
The open house-style public meeting is set for noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, in the Brentwood School District conference center, 1201 Hanley Industrial Court, St. Louis, MO 63144.
The Brentwood School District asks that attendees park in the south parking lot to allow parents to pick up and drop off their children at the ECC.
This hearing will allow the public to get information about the project and to provide comments, either directly to the engineers or in written comments.
They need to fix big bend.
Big Bend north of Manchester is being resurfaced in 2019 FYI.
Not to mention that Big Bend is not MoDOT’s responsibility, it is a St Louis County maintained road.
