According to Ameren Missouri, there were 1,010 without power in Maplewood (63143), and 157 in Richmond Heights (63117) at about 5 p.m. Monday.
That’s 6,330 customers and 16 percent of the zip code, according to Ameren.
A traffic signal out at at Bruno and Big Bend is causing a back-up, especially for southbound traffic. Stop signs are set up.
A Tweet reports that the outage is south of Rannells. It’s also north of Rannells.
A commenter on 40 South News Facebook said, “According to the Ameren, power should be back on around 6:30. Fingers crossed!”

My power on Alicia Ave. (half a block from that backup at BB and Bruno/Folk) went out at about 3:10 p.m. It came back on shortly before 6. Does anybody know what caused it?
