Maplewood Richmond Heights head wrestling coach Cory Reichert will be taking over as head wrestling coach for Clayton High School, the school has reported.
Reichert wrestled at Missouri Baptist University before becoming head coach at MRH, according to Clayton.
“I felt there was a great opportunity to expand my coaching career at Clayton High School,” Reichert said by email. “They are a young but experienced team led by seniors Michael Painter and Jack Snodgrass. The administration and community has been great to work with so far. I’m excited about the opportunity, but will be a little sad leaving such a great group coming back.”
Reichert’s replacement at MRH hasn’t been hired.
