A new Brentwood mayor, three new aldermen, a reelected alderman and a new judge were installed in a special Brentwood Board of Aldermen meeting Tuesday evening.
City Administrator Bola Akande read the election results, which were certified, then (now former) mayor, Pat Kelly swore in the new mayor, Chris Thornton.
Thornton then swore in Pat Dignam, municipal judge; David Plufka, alderman Ward I; Keith Slusser, alderman Ward II; Steve Lochmoeller, alderman Ward III, and Tom Kramer, alderman Ward IV. See also: Videos: new Brentwood officials sworn in
Dignam ran unopposed, replacing the retiring Ron Hill. Pluflka defeated Hart Nelson in the Ward I race. Slusser ran unopposed, replacing the retiring Lee Wynn in Ward II. Lochmoeller defeated Andrew Hartnett for the Ward III seat. Tom Kramer was reelected for Ward IV, running unopposed.
