The Maplewood Chamber of Commerce (which serves both Maplewood and Richmond Heights), in its August newsletter, listed businesses that have recently obtained businesses licenses.
The Maplewood and Richmond Heights chambers joined together in January 2016. The combined chambers will soon have a name that reflects this.
The chamber says being listed does not necessarily mean a business has opened. Also, a business license could also be issued when a business changes hands, such as Scheidt Hardware, which is well over 100 years old.
The list includes three food trucks.

Is anyone aware of plans for the old Layton’s location on Clayton Road? I’ve recently seen them doing work on the building, but have seen nothing going to P&Z or business license activity.
Why is there no Chamber of Commerce for Richmond Heights?
