The last truss was put in place at a new house 8830 Madge Avenue on Monday.
The Brentwood architectural review board approved the design in March. At the meeting the developer said it will probably list in the $400,000s.

Thanks for running the picture of the former 8830 Madge again. It shows the neighbor to the immediate east with sun exposure on the west side of her home. That sunlight is gone with the new building casting a shadow on that space. I don’t recall that the Architectural Review Board
even questioned the elevation of the new construction.
I haven’t spoken with the eastern neighbor –I’m just commenting from my own perspective. I do, however, recall a resident from Pine Avenue suffered the same experience when a neighbor’s project became intrusive. Are higher standards or regard for the neighbors beyond the city’s authority?
