A Maplewood restaurant recently released its very last menu and a Brentwood restaurant is looking to expand its offerings.

Home Wine Kitchen opened in 2011 and will close its doors after service on Dec. 31. Co-owner Cassy Vires has said the reason for closing is a lawsuit that alleges the waitstaff was underpaid.

The restaurant’s “Last Supper,” as its called online, is New Years Eve, and includes beef tartare, roasted mushrooms, sweet potato bisque, greens salad, braised short ribs, seafood stew, pear & blue cheese risotto, artisanal cheeses, chocolate spice cake or honey & thyme custard. It goes for $75 and reservations are required.

In Brentwood, Fort Taco opened in November, offering tacos (with or without beef) and enchiladas. The owners are considering adding menu options, including chicken tacos or enchiladas, tamales, tostadas, or a desert, and have posted a questionnaire seeking opinions.
