Three-plus years after Pie Oh My founder, Jane Callahan moved from farmers markets to Sutton Boulevard in Maplewood, she is selling the shop to employee, Melennie Lorence, as first reported in Feast Magazine.

Callahan posted on Pie Oh My Facebook that she plans to spend more time with her husband of 31 years, her daughters who live in New York and her extended family in Minnesota.

“I’m proud of the business I have built, our made-from-scratch approach, and my business’ strong financial growth. It is a small business owner’s dream to hand-pick your successor, and I’ve been able to do just that with Melennie. For those of you who don’t know her yet, you will love her and the delicious baked goods that she’ll create for you! You can look forward to some mouthwatering new additions to the Pie Oh My menu under Melennie’s leadership,” Callahan posted on Facebook.

Lorence is set to take over ownership effective March 31.
