Pie Oh My is now “on the fly.” Maplewood’s pie bakery opened in summer 2012, and now has added a food truck. The truck passed its St. Louis County Health Department inspection Tuesday, Pie Oh My owner Jane Callahan said.
She plans on taking the truck to St. Louis city and county events. She’ll use Twitter (@pieohmystl) to announce which ones. Callahan will prep the individual-sized pies — sweet and savory — at her store, at 2719 Sutton Boulevard.
Maplewood allowed food trucks at Sunnen Business Park and the Deer Creek Center for a 6-month trial period, ending in May, 2013, so the Pie Oh My Truck won’t do business there.
Callahan bought one of the hundreds of Hostess trucks that became available last year, and used Adgraphix, 710 Hanley Industrial Court, for the vinyl wrap.
