Monday, May 26

  • Police arrested a 41-year-old man for stealing property from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • Police arrested a 24-year-old man for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. Drugs were discovered on him at the time of the arrest, and he was also charged with a drug violation.

Tuesday, May 27

  • Police arrested a 34-year-old man for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. The suspect was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, which was discovered on him at the time of the arrest.
  • Police arrested a 25-year-old man for a drug violation and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 7100 block of Manchester.
  • Police arrested a 35-year-old man for stealing merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. The suspect was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, which was discovered on him at the time of the arrest.
  • Police stopped a vehicle near Maplewood Commons Drive for a traffic violation. A 22-year-old male passenger was found to possess drug paraphernalia and was arrested. Police also arrested the 24-year-old male driver for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Police also noticed a new television inside the vehicle and later discovered it was recently stolen from a Maplewood Commons business. Charges are pending against the passenger for the theft.

Thursday, May 29

  • A cell phone and approximately $20 were reported stolen from an employee at a business in the 3200 block of Laclede Station Road. Video surveillance showed an unknown man entering the employees break room on May 27 and appearing to steal the above merchandise from the employee’s purse.

Friday, May 30

  • Police are investigating a theft from a business in the 3200 block of Laclede Station Road. A man and woman left the business with approximately $500 in stolen merchandise. Police reviewed video surveillance and were able to identify one of the suspects. Police are attempting to locate the suspect.

Saturday, May 31

  • Police issued a 60-year-old man a summons for peace disturbance in the 2600 block of S. Big Bend. This was the fourth related call for service during the past week in reference to this man disturbing the peace.
  • A residential burglary was reported in the 7200 block of Zephyr Place. The victim reported that a firearm and a game system were stolen.
  • Police arrested a 32-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man for disorderly conduct on in the 3000 block of S. Big Bend.

Sunday, June 1

  • Police arrested a 32-year-old man for stealing merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
