Police: cars stolen on Moritz, Pine, Parkridge

Monday, Jan. 12

  •  At 1:21 p.m. police were called to a business in the 1600 block of Hanley Road for a shoplifting report. A 58-year-old man was arrested for stealing. He had taken electrical supplies.

Tuesday, Jan. 13

  • At around 9:30 a.m. we received three calls in a span of fifteen minutes regarding vehicles taken while warming. All vehicles were unlocked. The cars were parked in the 9000 block of Moritz Ave, 9300 block of Pine Ave. and the 2300 block of Parkridge Ave. One of the cars was recovered later that evening in the St Louis city.

Wednesday, Jan. 14

  • At 7:29 p.m. officers responded to the 2800 block of Bremerton Road for a theft report.  A purse was taken from the front passenger seat of a car. The window to the car was broken.

Thursday, Jan. 15

  • At 3:59 p.m. police responded to a business in the Brentwood Promenade for a report of a shoplifting. A 22-year-old man was arrested for stealing. He had taken electronic items.
  • At 9:50 p.m. police were called to a business in the 1400 block of Hanley Road for a theft report. A purse was taken from the front seat of a car. The window was broken.

Friday, Jan. 20

  • At 2:30 p.m. officers were called to a business in the 1500 block of Brentwood Blvd. for a shoplifting report. Two juvenile girls were taken into custody for stealing.  They had taken clothing items.
