Monday, Dec.29

  • Police are investigating a reported residential burglary in the 7200 block of Southwest Avenue. Someone entered the residence through an unsecured window in the night. The victim reported cash and a TV were stolen.
  • Police arrested a 21-year-old man for a theft committed in the 2400 block of S. Big Bend.

Tuesday, Dec. 30

  • Police responded to the 2600 block of S. Hanley Road for a reported property damage. Police contacted employees at the business who told police someone broke out a glass door window with a hammer. The suspect fled in a blue passenger vehicle. Police identified a 31-year-old male suspect and took him into custody on Jan. 4. Felony warrants are pending through the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
  • Police arrested a 20-year-old man for stealing approximately $380 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • Police arrested a 33-year-old man for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. He was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wednesday, Dec. 31

  • Police arrested a 29-year-old man for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • Police responded to the 7500 block of Sussex Avenue for a reported domestic disturbance. After conducting an investigation, police arrested a 43-year-old man for assaulting his girlfriend.

Thursday, Jan. 1

  • Police arrested a 57-year-old man for stealing approximately $275 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • Police arrested a 35-year-old man for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.

Friday, Jan. 2

  • In the early morning hours police arrested a 35-year-old man for committing a residential burglary in the 7200 block of Richmond Place. Warrants were issued through the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office on the charges of burglary in the first degree and stealing over $500. The suspect is currently in custody at the St. Louis County Justice Services Center on a $50,000 bond.
  • Someone entered an unlocked vehicle in a garage in the 2600 block of Roseland Terrace and stole approximately $215 in miscellaneous property.
  • Police arrested a 43-year-old woman for assaulting another female at a Maplewood Commons business.

Saturday, Jan. 3

  • Police arrested a 27-year-old man for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.

Sunday, Jan. 4

  • Police arrested a 55-year-old woman for stealing approximately $125 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • Police arrested  a 25-year-old man for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. The suspect was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
