The Saint Louis Bread Co., at 6701 Clayton Road, is moving across the street into the former Applebee’s building, 6734 Clayton Road, according to an employee at the current location.
The new location will open in mid-summer. The employee said the the reason for the move is a larger building and more parking. The store will move from Clayton to Richmond Heights when it crosses the street.
Applebee’s closed in June last year.
Clayton Rd. is the border between Clayton and Richmond Heights. The current Bread Co. is in Clayton but will switch to Richmond Heights when it moves to the other side of the road.

Cathy, You maybe thinking Applegates, which was what I first thought, but Bread Co is moving into Applebee’s.
Isn’t there a Bread Co across the street in Brentwood? Will that one close. Seems like a Bread Co overload in that area.
This new Bread Co is on Clayton Rd next to the Esquire Theater. The old Bread Co is directly across the street and is small as well very little parking space.
