Tom Chantharasy, owner of Robata — the sushi, ramen and yakitori restaurant set to open at the former Church’s Chicken (7260 Manchester Road) — said he’s hoping for a soft opening next week.
Chantharasy was setting up his walk-in cooler Thursday afternoon. He said he has two inspections remaining: building health inspection on Friday and health inspection on Tuesday. He plans to open when those are passed.
He said he’s still hiring for the front of the restaurant.
