Three Maplewood City Council seats will be voted on next April in the municipal election. So far, only the incumbent council members are running.

A candidate for Maplewood City Council needs 50 approved signatures on a petition turned in to City Hall by 5 p.m. Nov. 18.

Council members Karen Wood (Ward 1), Tim Dunn (Ward 2) and Barry Greenberg (Ward 3) terms end this cycle; they have all picked up petitions to run again. Council seats are four-year terms.

Mayor Jim White won reelection in April 2013 for a four-year term, expiring April 2017. He’s been mayor since 2009.

In Brentwood, the dates for candidates to file for public office for the April 2015 election are Dec. 16, 2014 through Jan. 20, 2015.

Anthony Harper (Ward 1), Lee Wynn (Ward 2), Keith Robertson (Ward 3) and Tom Kramer (Ward 4) terms end April 2015. Mayor Pat Kelly’s term also ends.

Ward 4 Alderman Patrick Toohey has announced his candidacy for mayor, and Brandon Jones has announced his candidacy for Ward 3 alderman.

No council seats or the mayor’s term will expire in Richmond Heights in April 2015.
